Singer / Songwriter
Born 28 years ago in the small town of Saint-Pascal-Baylon (Ontario, Canada) and now living in Orleans, near Ottawa the nation's capital, Damien Maze has been a country fan all his life, with heroes like Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Eric Church and Allan Jackson. His love of this music genre made him pick up the guitar and sing with his band in small venues in Ontario and Quebec, gradually building up his stage chops and his live following. His voice tone and singing style brought the attention of renowned songwriters Gerry Stober, Aaron Ownby and Mark Blumenthal of the GSTO songs / BMG team with whom he collaborated on 4 songs including the single ''Long Way Home'', and also with North Easton who co-wrote the ballad "Nobody’s Like You" with him.
He then worked with famed arranger/producer John Webster (Aerosmith, Tom Cochrane, AC/DC, Michael Bublé, Van Halen, etc.) to produce, record and mix this first powerful 5 songs mini-album at Bryan Adam's Warehouse Studios in Vancouver, even getting some engineering support on the basic tracks from the great Bob Rock..And to complete the package, mastering of this E.P. was done by none-other than legendary Grammy-winning engineer Andrew Mendelson (Kenny Chesney, The Rolling Stones, Eric Church, Keith Urban, etc.) at Georgetown Masters in Nashville, Tennessee.
